Mylène Chamblain, a key figure on the Americana, Blues, Folk and Pop-Rock scenes, has established herself in Belgium as a major artist. This talented and generous performer returns to the Cabaret du Moine on Friday, October 2, 2026 for an energetic and authentic concert.
From Toulouse to Albuquerque
Singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer, she was born in France in 1980. Mylène Chamblain has been writing and composing her own music since the age of 14, independently producing her work from the age of 21. She first performed in Toulouse café-concerts before traveling through the American Southwest in an old American car, soaking up the vast landscapes that inspire her. During her stay, she played every night in clubs in Albuquerque.
Inspired by legendary artists such as Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, Melissa Etheridge and Creedence Clearwater Revival, Mylène Chamblain blends Americana, Blues, Rock and Folk with rare authenticity. After a long hiatus, she was rediscovered in 2021 on RTBF Classic 21 in Belgium with her Body and Soul EP, produced by Cyril Orcel.
Since then she has shared the stage with internationally renowned artists such as American star Beverley Jo Scott, the Scottish band Big Country, and the Belgian rock group K’s Choice.
Drive Me Mad
Her latest album, Drive Me Mad (released in 2025), has been praised by media in the United States and Europe. Drawing on ’70s rock, Blues, “road music,” blues-rock and country sounds – with classic Americana touches like slide guitar and Hammond organ – Mylène has forged a distinctive musical identity. Both on stage and in life, she is natural and generous, and each of her concerts is an authentic, unique performance.
