Belgian globetrotter and Indiana Jones of song! Besac-Arthur writes his songs like he puts his hands in the earth. Some people look for gold at the bottom of wells, but he looks for it at the heart of humanity. His music combines lightness, the hope of a new world, the depth of folk chords, with West African sounds.
The Baroudeur
18-year-old Besac-Arthur discovers a guitar that belonged to his father, a discovery that will change his life and lead him to a unique musical career. Graduating with a degree in journalism, he travelled the roads of Spain, making a living from a variety of jobs including street musician, before returning determined to make music his vocation.
In 2009, inspired by Arthur Rimbaud and Bob Dylan, he adopted the name Besac-Arthur. His debut album "Lever l'encre", released in 2015, is a hit in Belgium and France, followed by numerous concert dates. Building on this momentum, he completed a 4-month world tour to compose his second album "Humans", released in 2020. This album, the fruit of international collaborations, blends a variety of sounds from folk to rock to French chanson.
Besac-Arthur invites you on a musical journey where influences from around the world meet, offering an experience rich in emotion and discovery.
